代上23:1 大卫年纪老迈，日子满足，就立他儿子所罗门作以色列的王。
代上23:1 So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.
代上23:2 大卫招聚以色列的众首领和祭司利未人。
代上23:2 And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
代上23:3 利未人从三十岁以外的都被数点，他们男丁的数目共有三万八千。
代上23:3 Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand.
代上23:4 其中有二万四千人管理耶和华殿的事，有六千人作官长和士师，
代上23:4 Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges:
代上23:5 有四千人作守门的，又有四千人用大卫所做的乐器颂赞耶和华。
代上23:5 Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.
代上23:6 大卫将利未人革顺、哥辖、米拉利的子孙分了班次。
代上23:6 And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
代上23:7 革顺的子孙有拉但和示每。
代上23:7 Of the Gershonites were, Laadan, and Shimei.
代上23:8 拉但的长子是耶歇，还有细坦和约珥，共三人。
代上23:8 The sons of Laadan; the chief was Jehiel, and Zetham, and Joel, three.
代上23:9 示每的儿子是示罗密、哈薛、哈兰三人。这是拉但族的族长。
代上23:9 The sons of Shimei; Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haran, three. These were the chief of the fathers of Laadan.
代上23:10 示每的儿子是雅哈、细撒、耶乌施、比利亚，共四人。
代上23:10 And the sons of Shimei were, Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four were the sons of Shimei.
代上23:11 雅哈是长子，细撒是次子。但耶乌施和比利亚的子孙不多，所以算为一族。
代上23:11 And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to their father's house.
代上23:12 哥辖的儿子是暗兰、以斯哈、希伯伦、乌薛，共四人。
代上23:12 The sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
代上23:13 暗兰的儿子是亚伦、摩西。亚伦和他的子孙分出来，好分别至圣的物，在耶和华面前烧香，事奉他，奉他的名祝福，直到永远。
代上23:13 The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever.
代上23:14 至于神人摩西，他的子孙，名字记在利未支派的册上。
代上23:14 Now concerning Moses the man of God, his sons were named of the tribe of Levi.
代上23:15 摩西的儿子是革舜和以利以谢。
代上23:15 The sons of Moses were, Gershom, and Eliezer.
代上23:16 革舜的长子是细布业。
代上23:16 Of the sons of Gershom, Shebuel was the chief.
代上23:17 以利以谢的儿子是利哈比雅。以利以谢没有别的儿子，但利哈比雅的子孙甚多。
代上23:17 And the sons of Eliezer were, Rehabiah the chief. And Eliezer had none other sons; but the sons of Rehabiah were very many.
代上23:18 以斯哈的长子是示罗密。
代上23:18 Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief.
代上23:19 希伯伦的长子是耶利雅，次子是亚玛利亚，三子是雅哈悉，四子是耶加面。
代上23:19 Of the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
代上23:20 乌薛的长子是米迦，次子是耶西雅。
代上23:20 Of the sons of Uzziel; Micah the first, and Jesiah the second.
代上23:21 米拉利的儿子是抹利、母示；抹利的儿子是以利亚撒、基士。
代上23:21 The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish.
代上23:22 以利亚撒死了，没有儿子，只有女儿，他们本族基士的儿子娶了她们为妻。
代上23:22 And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
代上23:23 母示的儿子是末力、以得、耶利摩，共三人。
代上23:23 The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.
代上23:24 以上利未子孙作族长的，照着男丁的数目，从二十岁以外，都办耶和华殿的事务。
代上23:24 These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even the chief of the fathers, as they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward.
代上23:25 大卫说：“耶和华以色列的 神，已经使他的百姓平安，他永远住在耶路撒冷。
代上23:25 For David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:
代上23:26 利未人不必再抬帐幕和其中所用的一切器皿了。”
代上23:26 And also unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
代上23:27 照着大卫临终所吩咐的，利未人从二十岁以外的都被数点。
代上23:27 For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and above:
代上23:28 他们的职任是服事亚伦的子孙，在耶和华的殿和院子并屋中办事，洁净一切圣物，就是办神殿的事务，
代上23:28 Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
代上23:29 并管理陈设饼，素祭的细面，或无酵薄饼，或用盘烤，或用油调和的物，又管理各样的升斗尺度。
代上23:29 Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
代上23:30 每日早晚，站立称谢赞美耶和华，
代上23:30 And to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at even;
代上23:31 又在安息日、月朔并节期，按数照例，将燔祭常常献给耶和华。
代上23:31 And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD:
代上23:32 又看守会幕和圣所，并守耶和华吩咐他们弟兄亚伦子孙的，办耶和华殿的事。
代上23:32 And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
