徒24:1 过了五天，大祭司亚拿尼亚同几个长老和一个辩士帖土罗下来，向巡抚控告保罗。
徒24:1 And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
徒24:2 保罗被提了来，帖土罗就告他说：
徒24:2 And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
徒24:3 “腓力斯大人，我们因你得以大享太平，并且这一国的弊病，因着你的先见得以更正了，我们随时随地满心感谢不尽。
徒24:3 We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
徒24:4 惟恐多说，你嫌烦絮，只求你宽容听我们说几句话。
徒24:4 Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
徒24:5 我们看这个人，如同瘟疫一般，是鼓动普天下众犹太人生乱的，又是拿撒勒教党里的一个头目，
徒24:5 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
徒24:6 连圣殿他也想要污秽。我们把他捉住了（有古卷在此有“要按我们的律法审问，
徒24:6 Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
徒24:7 不料，千夫长吕西亚前来，甚是强横，从我们手中把他夺去，吩咐告他的人到你这里来。”）。
徒24:7 But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
徒24:8 你自己究问他，就可以知道我们告他的一切事了。”
徒24:8 Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
徒24:9 众犹太人也随着告他说：“事情诚然是这样。”
徒24:9 And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
徒24:10 巡抚点头叫保罗说话。他就说：“我知道你在这国里断事多年，所以我乐意为自己分诉。
徒24:10 Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
徒24:11 你查问就可以知道，从我上耶路撒冷礼拜到今日，不过有十二天。
徒24:11 Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
徒24:12 他们并没有看见我在殿里，或是在会堂里，或是在城里，和人辩论，耸动众人。
徒24:12 And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
徒24:13 他们现在所告我的事并不能对你证实了。
徒24:13 Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
徒24:14 但有一件事，我向你承认，就是他们所称为异端的道，我正按着那道事奉我祖宗的 神，又信合乎律法的和先知书上一切所记载的，
徒24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
徒24:15 并且靠着 神，盼望死人，无论善恶，都要复活，就是他们自己也有这个盼望。
徒24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
徒24:16 我因此自己勉励，对 神、对人，常存无亏的良心。
徒24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
徒24:17 过了几年，我带着周济本国的捐项和供献的物上去。
徒24:17 Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.
徒24:18 正献的时候，他们看见我在殿里已经洁净了，并没有聚众，也没有吵嚷，惟有几个从亚西亚来的犹太人。
徒24:18 Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
徒24:19 他们若有告我的事，就应当到你面前来告我。
徒24:19 Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.
徒24:20 即或不然，这些人若看出我站在公会前有妄为的地方，他们自己也可以说明。
徒24:20 Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
徒24:21 纵然有，也不过一句话，就是我站在他们中间大声说：‘我今日在你们面前受审，是为死人复活的道理。’”
徒24:21 Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
徒24:22 腓力斯本是详细晓得这道，就支吾他们说：“且等千夫长吕西亚下来，我要审断你们的事。”
徒24:22 And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
徒24:23 于是吩咐百夫长看守保罗，并且宽待他，也不拦阻他的亲友来供给他。
徒24:23 And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
徒24:24 过了几天，腓力斯和他夫人、犹太的女子土西拉一同来到，就叫了保罗来，听他讲论信基督耶稣的道。
徒24:24 And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
徒24:25 保罗讲论公义、节制和将来的审判。腓力斯甚觉恐惧，说：“你暂且去吧！等我得便再叫你来。”
徒24:25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
徒24:26 腓力斯又指望保罗送他银钱，所以屡次叫他来，和他谈论。
徒24:26 He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
徒24:27 过了两年，波求非斯都接了腓力斯的任。腓力斯要讨犹太人的喜欢，就留保罗在监里。
徒24:27 But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
