箴21:1 王的心在耶和华手中，好像陇沟的水随意流转。
箴21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
箴21:2 人所行的，在自己眼中都看为正，惟有耶和华衡量人心。
箴21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
箴21:3 行仁义公平，比献祭更蒙耶和华悦纳。
箴21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
箴21:4 恶人发达（原文作“灯”），眼高心傲，这乃是罪。
箴21:4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
箴21:5 殷勤筹划的，足致丰裕；行事急躁的，都必缺乏。
箴21:5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
箴21:6 用诡诈之舌求财的，就是自己取死；所得之财，乃是吹来吹去的浮云。
箴21:6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.
箴21:7 恶人的强暴，必将自己扫除，因他们不肯按公平行事。
箴21:7 The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.
箴21:8 负罪之人的路，甚是弯曲；至于清洁的人，他所行的乃是正直。
箴21:8 The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.
箴21:9 宁可住在房顶的角上，不在宽阔的房屋，与争吵的妇人同住。
箴21:9 It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.
箴21:10 恶人的心，乐人受祸，他眼并不怜恤邻舍。
箴21:10 The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.
箴21:11 亵慢的人受刑罚，愚蒙的人就得智慧；智慧人受训诲，便得知识。
箴21:11 When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
箴21:12 义人思想恶人的家，知道恶人倾倒，必致灭亡。
箴21:12 The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.
箴21:13 塞耳不听穷人哀求的，他将来呼吁也不蒙应允。
箴21:13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
箴21:14 暗中送的礼物，挽回怒气；怀中搋的贿赂，止息暴怒。
箴21:14 A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.
箴21:15 秉公行义，使义人喜乐，使作孽的人败坏。
箴21:15 It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
箴21:16 迷离通达道路的，必住在阴魂的会中。
箴21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
箴21:17 爱宴乐的，必致穷乏；好酒、爱膏油的，必不富足。
箴21:17 He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.
箴21:18 恶人作了义人的赎价；奸诈人代替正直人。
箴21:18 The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.
箴21:19 宁可住在旷野，不与争吵使气的妇人同住。
箴21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
箴21:20 智慧人家中积蓄宝物膏油；愚昧人随得来随吞下。
箴21:20 There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.
箴21:21 追求公义仁慈的，就寻得生命、公义和尊荣。
箴21:21 He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
箴21:22 智慧人爬上勇士的城墙，倾覆他所倚靠的坚垒。
箴21:22 A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.
箴21:23 谨守口与舌的，就保守自己免受灾难。
箴21:23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
箴21:24 心骄气傲的人，名叫亵慢，他行事狂妄，都出于骄傲。
箴21:24 Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.
箴21:25 懒惰人的心愿，将他杀害，因为他手不肯做工。
箴21:25 The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.
箴21:26 有终日贪得无餍的；义人施舍而不吝惜。
箴21:26 He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.
箴21:27 恶人的祭物是可憎的，何况他存恶意来献呢？
箴21:27 The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?
箴21:28 作假见证的必灭亡；惟有听真情而言的，其言长存。
箴21:28 A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.
箴21:29 恶人脸无羞耻；正直人行事坚定。
箴21:29 A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.
箴21:30 没有人能以智慧、聪明、谋略敌挡耶和华。
箴21:30 There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
箴21:31 马是为打仗之日预备的，得胜乃在乎耶和华。
箴21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
