伯8:1 书亚人比勒达回答说：
伯8:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
伯8:2 “这些话你要说到几时？口中的言语如狂风要到几时呢？
伯8:2 How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?
伯8:3 神岂能偏离公平？全能者岂能偏离公义？
伯8:3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
伯8:4 或者你的儿女得罪了他，他使他们受报应。
伯8:4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;
伯8:5 你若殷勤地寻求 神，向全能者恳求；
伯8:5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;
伯8:6 你若清洁正直，他必定为你起来，使你公义的居所兴旺。
伯8:6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
伯8:7 你起初虽然微小，终久必甚发达。
伯8:7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
伯8:8 请你考问前代，追念他们的列祖所查究的。
伯8:8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:
伯8:9 （我们不过从昨日才有，一无所知，我们在世的日子好像影儿。）
伯8:9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)
伯8:10 他们岂不指教你、告诉你从心里发出言语来呢？
伯8:10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?
伯8:11 蒲草没有泥岂能发长？芦荻没有水岂能生发？
伯8:11 Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?
伯8:12 尚青的时候，还没有割下，比百样的草先枯稿；
伯8:12 Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb.
伯8:13 凡忘记 神的人，景况也是这样。不虔敬人的指望要灭没，
伯8:13 So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:
伯8:14 他所仰赖的必折断，他所倚靠的是蜘蛛网。
伯8:14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web.
伯8:15 他要倚靠房屋，房屋却站立不住；他要抓住房屋，房屋却不能存留。
伯8:15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.
伯8:16 他在日光之下发青，蔓子爬满了园子。
伯8:16 He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.
伯8:17 他的根盘绕石堆，扎入石地。
伯8:17 His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.
伯8:18 他若从本地被拔出，那地就不认识他说：‘我没有见过你。’
伯8:18 If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.
伯8:19 看哪！这就是他道中之乐，以后必另有人从地而生。
伯8:19 Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.
伯8:20 神必不丢弃完全人，也不扶助邪恶人。
伯8:20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
伯8:21 他还要以喜笑充满你的口，以欢呼充满你的嘴。
伯8:21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.
伯8:22 恨恶你的要披戴惭愧；恶人的帐棚，必归于无有。”
伯8:22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.
