伯15:1 提幔人以利法回答说：
伯15:1 Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said,
伯15:2 “智慧人岂可用虚空的知识回答，用东风充满肚腹呢？
伯15:2 Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?
伯15:3 他岂可用无益的话和无济于事的言语理论呢？
伯15:3 Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?
伯15:4 你是废弃敬畏的意，在 神面前阻止敬虔的心。
伯15:4 Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.
伯15:5 你的罪孽指教你的口，你选用诡诈人的舌头。
伯15:5 For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.
伯15:6 你自己的口定你有罪，并非是我；你自己的嘴见证你的不是。
伯15:6 Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee.
伯15:7 你岂是头一个被生的人吗？你受造在诸山之先吗？
伯15:7 Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills?
伯15:8 你曾听见 神的密旨吗？你还将智慧独自得尽吗？
伯15:8 Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself?
伯15:9 你知道什么，是我们不知道的呢？你明白什么，是我们不明白的呢？
伯15:9 What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us?
伯15:10 我们这里有白发的和年纪老迈的，比你父亲还老。
伯15:10 With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father.
伯15:11 神用温和的话安慰你，你以为太小吗？
伯15:11 Are the consolations of God small with thee? is there any secret thing with thee?
伯15:12 你的心为何将你逼去？你的眼为何冒出火星？
伯15:12 Why doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at,
伯15:13 使你的灵反对 神，也任你的口发这言语？
伯15:13 That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth?
伯15:14 人是什么，竟算为洁净呢？妇人所生的是什么，竟算为义呢？
伯15:14 What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
伯15:15 神不信靠他的众圣者，在他眼前天也不洁净！
伯15:15 Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.
伯15:16 何况那污秽可憎、喝罪孽如水的世人呢？
伯15:16 How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?
伯15:17 我指示你，你要听！我要述说所看见的，
伯15:17 I will shew thee, hear me; and that which I have seen I will declare;
伯15:18 就是智慧人从列祖所受、传说而不隐瞒的。
伯15:18 Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it:
伯15:19 （这地惟独赐给他们，并没有外人从他们中间经过。）
伯15:19 Unto whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger passed among them.
伯15:20 恶人一生之日劬劳痛苦，强暴人一生的年数也是如此。
伯15:20 The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.
伯15:21 惊吓的声音常在他耳中；在平安时抢夺的必临到他那里。
伯15:21 A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.
伯15:22 他不信自己能从黑暗中转回；他被刀剑等候。
伯15:22 He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword.
伯15:23 他漂流在外求食说：‘哪里有食物呢？’他知道黑暗的日子在他手边预备好了。
伯15:23 He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.
伯15:24 急难困苦叫他害怕，而且胜了他，好像君王预备上阵一样。
伯15:24 Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.
伯15:25 他伸手攻击 神，以骄傲攻击全能者，
伯15:25 For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth himself against the Almighty.
伯15:26 挺着颈项，用盾牌的厚凸面向全能者直闯。
伯15:26 He runneth upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers:
伯15:27 是因他的脸蒙上脂油，腰积成肥肉。
伯15:27 Because he covereth his face with his fatness, and maketh collops of fat on his flanks.
伯15:28 他曾住在荒凉城邑，无人居住将成乱堆的房屋。
伯15:28 And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps.
伯15:29 他不得富足，财物不得常存，产业在地上也不加增。
伯15:29 He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth.
伯15:30 他不得出离黑暗，火焰要将他的枝子烧干，因 神口中的气，他要灭亡（原文作“走去”）。
伯15:30 He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.
伯15:31 他不用倚靠虚假欺哄自己，因虚假必成为他的报应。
伯15:31 Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.
伯15:32 他的日期未到之先，这事必成就；他的枝子不得青绿。
伯15:32 It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green.
伯15:33 他必像葡萄树的葡萄，未熟而落；又像橄榄树的花，一开而谢。
伯15:33 He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.
伯15:34 原来不敬虔之辈必无生育；受贿赂之人的帐棚必被火烧。
伯15:34 For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.
伯15:35 他们所怀的是毒害，所生的是罪孽，心里所预备的是诡诈。”
伯15:35 They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit.
